Job Description and Duties

In accordance with CCR 249.3, this job control may be used to fill subsequent vacancies. 

This is a limited term position that may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.

Under supervision of the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), the Contract Analyst is responsible for performing work of average difficulty in a wide variety of consultative and analytical staff services assignments such as program evaluation and planning; systems development; budgeting; planning; training; and contract management. The incumbent is required to exercise initiative in successfully completing assignments, managing daily workflow, and reacting to constantly changing priorities while working in the Performance Review Unit (PRU) on a variety of administrative and analytical tasks for contracts.

Working Conditions

This position provides hybrid telework opportunities, with employees required to work in-person in Sacramento at least two days per week at 715 P Street, Sacramento, CA 95814. Alternative work locations will not be considered.

Candidates who reside outside of the State of California may be admitted to the job interview but must show proof of residence in California prior to being eligible for appointment.
