Join a practice in the largest, most comprehensive children s hospital in the state! S eeking additional Board Certified/Board Eligible Neonatologists to join our practice at Sunrise Children s Hospital in Las Vegas, NV. The group is looking for additional team members whose professional commitment is to provide the highest level of care, in addition to being a part of a collaborative group.

Job Description:

  • The hospital has a 72-bed, Level-III NICU with an ADC of 60.
  • Services include neonatal ECMO, iNO, high frequency ventilation, (jet and oscillators) and total body cooling.
  • There is an active transport program, a dedicated resuscitation team and full pediatric subspecialty and surgical support.
  • Our affiliated pediatric intensivists cover the PICU/CVICU, our hospitalists cover the pediatric floor and our pediatric ER physicians cover the pediatric ER.
  • The practice has a busy cardiovascular surgery program, as well as general surgery and high volume ELBWs.
  • Has an academic affiliation with Resident teaching opportunities are available.
  • The group values team-work and holds high expectations for shared clinical practice guidelines to provide continuity to the infants and their families.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base salary $250,000 is the starting point for a newly-graduated Fellow. Increases in salary are based on experience. To be discussed at interview.

  • Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Pediatrics - REQUIRED
  • Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine - REQUIRED
  • NV license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
  • Fellowship-trained in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (to be completed prior to start) - REQUIRED
  • Does the provider require visa support - J1 or H1B? (note in "Additional Submission Details" field) - REQUIRED
  • DEA (must be obtained prior to start) - (note in "Additional Submission Details" field) REQUIRED * no exemptions
  • CSR/CDS (must be obtained prior to start) - (note in "Additional Submission Details" field) REQUIRED * no exemptions
