Senior Environmental Compliance Specialist We are currently seeking a Senior Environmental Compliance Specialist in Memphis, TN for our client on a direct hire basis. This individual will lead staff and clients in project management, coordination, and implementation of comprehensive project work. Evaluating industrial facilities' compliance status, assisting them in applying for and complying with various environmental permits, and helping facilities identify and comply with other environmental obligations. The successful candidate should have a demonstrated ability to navigate local, state, and federal regulations with expertise in leading labor and material estimates, proposals, and business development efforts. They should be capable of developing and expanding existing market connections and client relationships. Job Requirements: Prepare compliance reports in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements. Perform environmental compliance audits or assist clients with specific environmental compliance determinations and tasks. Prepare stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPPs), spill prevention control and countermeasure (SPCC) plans, and hazardous waste contingency plans (HWCPs). Environmental permitting and compliance programs for multiple environmental media, including air, wastewater, stormwater, waste, and EPCRA. Mentoring junior-level staff. Corrective and preventive action is taken to address non-conformance at client sites. Project management, coordination, and implementation of comprehensive project work associated with environmental regulatory compliance and permitting.
